There is a time when the colors fade

The wind settles and the horizon glows

Where a light grows from the edge

And becomes white on the horizon

The world in front becomes black

The detail of each tree branch, each rooftop

become an amazing silhouete

And in the starkest contrast of light and dark

beauty screams forth in both

Light from beyond

clarity in front

It lasts but only a moment

But one sees such sublime duality

and knows God is in both
